Wonder of the World redefines on board mobility with an ingeniously designed internal circulation system. From their suites, guests can board a private limousine or autonomous taxi, with or without a driver, to reach a restaurant, conference hall, opera, or wellness space, without ever leaving the ship.

 

Independent from traditional elevators, this system transforms every ride into a fluid, elegant, and confidential experience, seamlessly integrated into the ship’s luxurious environment. Designed for VIPs and distinguished guests, it ensures privacy, discretion, and absolute comfort, while also being fully adapted for passengers with specific needs, thanks to inclusive and customizable features.

In addition, twelve external 500 kN hydrogen-fueled reactors, independent of the main propulsion system, serve as a backup in case of power failure. Superconducting Turbines and Water Jet Propulsion

Still in the development phase, superconducting turbines could be integrated into the first marine platforms from  2030 onwards. By generating powerful magnetic fields without energy loss, they ensure ultra-efficient electromechanical conversion. This energy powers water jet turbines, which replace traditional propellers to propel vessels in a silent, continuous, and precise manner.

 

The water jet propulsion system draws in water, compresses it, and expels it at high speed, producing effective thrust while significantly reducing underwater noise. Unlike conventional engines, this technology protects marine species, whose acoustic communication is vital. It helps minimize the risks of disorientation, strandings, and hearing damage in cetaceans, while safeguarding the acoustic habitat, essential for ocean biodiversity.

8 - Emergency Evacuation – A Unique Logistics System Biometric System & Traceability – Combining Safety, Technology, and Passenger Experience

On board the Wonder of the World, each passenger is equipped with a smart biometric wristwatch—a technological marvel designed to ensure safety, comfort, and personalization.

This connected bracelet displays real-time data essential for identification and flow management, both under normal conditions and in emergencies: assigned evacuation seat, designated boarding gate, and medical profile if needed for appropriate care.

 

In the event of an alert, the bracelet becomes a personal guide: it indicates the evacuation point, a simplified directional arrow, and an interactive map on the screen, offering a personalized route enriched with text, icons, and dynamic arrows to facilitate quick navigation throughout the ship.

 

This system ensures real-time traceability, improves rescue coordination, and provides an intuitive experience—even in critical situations.

 

Thanks to cutting-edge technology, the evacuation system achieves an unprecedented capacity: up to 62,480 people, including 26,862 permanent residents, can be evacuated in under 180 minutes.

Given the advanced technology and absolute luxury envisioned, I estimate the total cost of the Wonder of the World could reach $50 billion. However, this figure remains a high-end projection, as the project is designed to be self-financing over time, thanks to its integrated economic model and its exceptional ability to attract an international clientele.
