Designer Profile: A Visionary at the Service of Wonder of the World

At the origin of Wonder of the World stands a visionary designer with several decades of experience in aviation, international tourism, and luxury travel. Raised in an environment closely linked to the air, maritime, and tourism industries, he developed early on a deep understanding of the dynamics, constraints, and opportunities specific to these sectors. His strength lies in his ability to transform bold ideas into concrete, exclusive, and memorable experiences.

A pioneer of charter flights in Canada, he has helped redefine the landscape of bespoke travel by designing tailored itineraries to a wide range of destinations, while rigorously mastering IATA domestic and international fare standards. His agency quickly established itself as a benchmark in the high-end segment, offering packages that combine private villas, yachts, luxury cruises, and personalized services tailored to a demanding clientele.

His expertise has been recognized by leading figures. His agency notably supported Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau and his entourage, as well as renowned business leaders and congress participants, including L’Oréal Canada. These collaborations solidified his reputation as a creator of exclusive experiences based on discretion, operational excellence, and innovation.

His career was further enriched by strategic partnerships with Carnival Cruise Line, for which he coordinated flights from Eastern Canada to Fort Lauderdale. This experience allowed him to acquire comprehensive operational mastery, covering passenger experience optimization, flow management, safety, and exceptional customer service.

As a tour operator, he operated aircraft such as the B-737, DC-9, B.727, DC-8-62/63, B-757, A-310, and B-747, with flights regularly operating at full capacity and maintaining waiting lists.

In 1986, La Presse of Montreal awarded him the second Marketing Award, recognizing the innovation and impact of his approach within the travel industry.

In 2005, as part of a fundraising campaign to launch the Haitian carrier HAITI AIR, the designer of WOW placed a bold advertisement in the Dubai-based daily, Gulf News. This initiative introduced a groundbreaking concept: utilizing the aircraft's belly (the fuselage underside) as a high-impact advertising space.

Three years later, in 2008, Emirates adopted this idea, which has since been embraced by numerous airlines and manufacturers worldwide. This avant-garde visual signature left a lasting mark on the aviation industry and continues to be a fascinating example of marketing innovation today.

What began as a daring advertising move in 2005 has now become a standard technical specification for aircraft leaving the factory. Today, the digital design phase of a Boeing 777 or an Airbus A350 natively integrates this visibility, turning the aircraft's underside into a strategic billboard for the global metropolises they fly over.

Moreover, he managed a Facebook page until March 2024 which, despite having only 85,000 followers, generated a phenomenal viral effect thanks to massive shares from its audience worldwide, reaching over 10.6 million daily visits. This page, still visible today but voluntarily paused, demonstrates the power of 100% organic reach without any advertising, achieving an exceptional audience.

In an environment where most large Facebook pages rely on advertising to maintain visibility, this page reached more than 10.6 million visits per day with zero media budget, relying solely on its audience and content quality.

As reflected in the official Facebook report below:

For comparison, the publicly observed orders of magnitude are as follows:

  • International media pages: 1 to 3 million daily visits (with advertising)
  • Global celebrity pages: 2 to 6 million daily visits (partial advertising)
  • Viral pages: fewer than 2 million daily visits (often boosted)
  • This page: 10.6 million daily visits, with no advertising at all

This performance relies exclusively on organic reach and genuine audience engagement.

A professional pilot holding a valid license, former member of an aerobatic team, and committed athlete, he naturally translated his aeronautical sensitivity into the design of the mega-ship Wonder of the World, whose silhouette is inspired by the powerful and fluid lines of a fighter jet, a vision summarized by a founding principle: structure and fluidity.

Today, backed by a multidisciplinary approach and a lifetime of deep-rooted expertise in the travel industry, one certainty stands clear: a person does not devote eight essential years to a mere hope. At a stage in life where every year is vital, only an ambition that is structured, credible, and destined for success can justify such perseverance.

More than 40,000 hours of reflection, 166 drafts, and 8,550 hours of digital design have forged this exceptional project. This personal investment, with a time-value estimated at $3.5 million, stands as a testament to the designer’s total commitment to this extraordinary work.

It is with this mindset that he is building Wonder of the World as far more than a tourism or commercial venture: it is a visionary destination where innovation, architectural excellence, and international scale converge with absolute coherence.

A seasoned athlete, hardened by effort and discipline, he channels that same energy into driving an extraordinary ambition. As a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, he has for years cultivated the rigor, endurance, and mental balance necessary for long-term projects. This mastery of self and unwavering resolve are reflected in every facet of his approach.

Wonder of the World does more than simply exist: it stands as a global benchmark, redefining the codes of luxury and escape while opening new horizons for the future of tourism and maritime transport.
